Service panel (Main window)

Service Status
Running Service
This service is currently running. If you attempt to stop this service, all its dependents will be stopped.
Stopped Service
This service is currently stopped. If you attempt to start this service, ServConf will try to start its dependency group first; if it is disabled, it will be first enabled and then started.
Paused Service
Note: Not all services support pausing.
Pending Service
This service received a control responded properly to it, but failed updating its status. The service may be waiting for an event to be triggered, than it will start or the service is frozen. While in this state a service cannot receive another control.
Service Start Type
Automatic Start Type
A service started automatically by the service control manager during system startup.
Manual Start Type
A service having Manual StartType is started by the service control manager when a process calls the StartService function.
Boot/System Start Type
Boot and System Start Types are valid only for driver services. A device driver having Boot Start Type is started by the system loader.A device driver having System Start Type is started by the IoInitSystem function.
Service Disabled
A service that cannot be started unless it is first enabled.

Group panel (Main window)

Service
Service that runs in its own process or shares a process with other services.
Driver Service
File system drivers and kernel drivers.
Registered Group
Windows keeps in the registry a list of service groups. This group is one of the this list. The colored icon shows that the group is not empty.
Registered Group (empty) Windows keeps in the registry a list of service groups. This group is one of the this list. The gray icon shows that the group is empty.
Unregistered Group
Windows keeps in the registry a list of service groups. This group is not one of the this list. One or more services claimed to be part of this group.

Event Log panel (Main window)

Information

An event that describes the successful operation of an application, driver, or service. For example, when a network driver loads successfully, an Information event will be logged.

Warning
An event that is not necessarily significant, but may indicate a possible future problem. For example, when disk space is low, a Warning event will be logged.
Error
A significant problem, such as loss of data or loss of functionality. For example, if a service fails to load during startup, an Error event will be logged.
Success Audit

An audited security access attempt that succeeds. For example, a user's successful attempt to log on to the system will be logged as a Success Audit event.

Failure Audit

An audited security access attempt that fails. For example, if a user tries to access a network drive and fails, the attempt will be logged as a Failure Audit event.

There are two possibilities: the service was uninstalled since this snapshot was taken, or the snapshot has been made on another Windows installation or even another Windows version. You may still apply this snapshot, because this entry will be ignored.
Erroneous entry
An error slipped in this snapshot causing this entry to be incomplete or incorect. If you do not correct it, ServConf will ignore this entry when applying this snapshot.
